The annual British Car Fayre took place on September 6th this year in historic downtown Norcross Georgia. As anticipated the weather was cool in the morning and sweltering in the afternoon. The much ballyhooed rain in the forecast never materialized. There was a large turnout of GTA membership and many new members were present which was nice to see. I know of three different non-members that I spoke with that indicated that they would be joining. Our very own Mike Hurst came away with a peoples choice award for his Mallard Triumph Stag. A special congratulations to Mike as the crowd at Norcross can be a difficult lot to impress. All in all, a great time was had and a few of us scoped out the replacement restaurant that used to be the Norcross Station Cafe. From what I could tell, it still operates in a similar fashion with different decor so we may return to Norcross Station for one of our end of the year meetings. Stay tuned and in the meantime, enjoy the photos!
